I'm not worried about "Faye" per se. We're on the highest bit of coastal ground for about 1000 miles. Natural streambeds and such are also well-developed and maintained.Our problem? Direct Rainfall. You see, back during the 70's they redid my neighborhood's gutters, sewers and such. It was during an early Tax "revolt" as well as the usual good old Southern Corruption. Half the drains are blind, that is their not attached to stormdrains, sewers or ANYTHING. One of which is directly in front of the property. The good thing is that our land is literally higher than the rest of the neighborhood. The bad thing is that we don't have a boat;>....
