Neighbors.....
Sep. 23rd, 2008 02:53 pmI miss my old neighborhood. Not the one in San Francisco, though I do that one as well. The one we moved into 8 yrs ago that occupied the one we live in now. When we moved here, it was mostly Retired Military and General Population with a few off-base families. Today, the Military(both Inservice and Retired)are gone and there's me and a neighbor who is on Disability after a car crash. A big crash in the neighborhood happened due to the Military "downsizing". Being shipped enmass to other bases meant they couldn't sell to their usual customers, newly Deployed servicefolk. So they had their properties "managed". These folks took advantage of the influx of Illegals and rented to them. The house across the street, a 2b 1br had 16 at one time. Two others were rented to Druggies.
Things had looked better as the Economy collapsed. The Illegals moved out and a nice single Mom moved in. Unfortunately, she only lasted a couple of months and skipped out on the Rent. Now we have a woman with a number of very young kids, none blatently from the same father, who is Pregnant, the possible father of that one and his buddies. garbage EVERYWHERE, some of which is thrown into my yard. She seems nice but appearently she's one of those women that have no self-esteem and goes from man to man...
Truth,
Pat
