I'm not the only Gay that thinks that folks who think we're 2nd Class Citizens or SUb-human shouldn't be Rewarded by US for their Beleifs. Like Free SPeech, youre Free to Beleive whatever about Whatever but I'm ALSO allowed to. If you're allowed to act on your Beleifs, I am as well. One of the things different about this time is the Internet. In previous outbursts of Homophobia, culprits could go back Deeding off us without Fear of Consequence. Not as much anymore. While Votes are Private, Actions are not. In today's world where few use cash, those little plastic cards collect data, much of which is available. In both Florida and California, personas and companies that Supported 2nd Class Status for us are finding themselves Shunned, their businesses boycotted....as it should be. After all,standing for your Beleifs doesn't mean that others CAN'T.
It's Amusing to hear the WHining of some of these folks who made a Living off GLBT-folk(esp. Gays)who thought they could just fuck us over and go back to business as usual. I admit, so many of us have been Progressived to the point that we Felt that we Deserve to be Treated so but we're in "Recovery" now and Getting Better Every Day. Beleifs are just that until you act on them, then as Actions require Reactions....and COnsequences. If the Beleif wasn't worth the COnsequences, perhaps you shouldn't have Acted. A Beleif that isn't worth the Consequences is a pretty pathetic Belief IMO....
