mdehnersIf it was, you'd have seen coverage of the Day of Protest. In some cities there were as many folks as there had been Latinos during their marches in 2006....yet no coverage. Even the Very Liberal Blogs like Huffington Post didn't mention them. Amuzingly, the COncervative Gay columnist Andrew Sullivan had the best and that was simply camera photos sent to him in his email. 'Course, as we've seen, "Progressives" tend to think of GLBT-folk as "the Help"...ther to do the work, pay the bills and fill out the protests but not to ask anything for themselves, being to self-hating to ask for the same Rights as thsoe they are Helping....
One of the 1st "viral" protests, poorly organised in infrastructure(gee,no one thought about Porta-potties;>!)but a sign of the Future. Appearantly, those silly events of folks showing up places and standing still or some other "Performance Art" have been shown that the same mechanisms that allowed them can be used for something Good....
