I've a number of friends and family maembers that aren't really happy about how lightly I take the world coming to and end in a couple yrs. Appearantly, my comments about calendars just being lost in the mail have not gone over well;>. Personally, I've never understood the joy that some folks get over EOTWAWKI announcements. Here's a few reasons why I'm no with my knickers in a twist:

I grew up with metaphysically-oriented Survivalists around me. I've watched "Earth changes", "Harmonica Virgins, Y2K and a number of smaller prophecies come and go. Experience dictates....

My "milk carton" expired back in the mid 80's. Since then I've Lived as if each day basically would be my last. I have no regrets or worries.

As the nice folks in the Yucatan put it this yr when someone brought up the calandar brou-ha-ha, "Everyone who knew how to make a new one's been dead for centuries...". It's simply that. Silly Mayans. They didn't "Know" that they wouldn't be around when it was time to work on the new one! How Psychic were they! That's what you get for making calendars that don't need to be worked on for centuries;>

If it does, I don't have to worry about who's going to take care of Chuck and my folks....

Pat
