Living up to Expectations....

mdehnersI only voted for Him because His opponent was either Mental or Evil. Those are the only explanations for such a change in "Beliefs" and "Core Values" between one election and the next. That said, I Hoped.....
Sadly, I've got what I expected. Anyone living in a major city will recognise Obama's behavior. It's generic Demo city councellor. Thiis has good and bad points but the main thing is it's designed to work in the city hall mileu. And somethings don't translate.
For one thing, there's the expectation that "if you don't like it, MOVE!". No matter what the R-Wing Wingnuts say, that's not an option for most Americans. As sucky as things can be for some of the population, it's still on the whole better than any other country.
Instead of coming in and using His Power to do things He didn't need "consensus" for, He played the usual city hall aura-fluffing games with the opposition, losing the chance to do Great Good right off. Then, He got the "minions" to do the work instead of doing it Himself. You need to Fluff the little bastards in a city hall to keep them happy and out of trouble. In a congress this simply allows them TO make trouble. In a hall what they're trying to do is look good for the Mayor. In congress it's to whoever bought them. A BIG Difference.....
I don't have much Hope or Expectations from Obama now. He's sent off His minions to "My Other Tribe's" rags to tell us to get back to the back of the bus and we'll get to you when we've taken care of all the real people. Heck, He's such a weenie that he wouldn't stand up to the wingnuts and ask them if they wanted all ER's closed in the US....because that's what their "Anti-Illegal" legislation would do. Nope. Too confrontational and Mr Kool don't do that....
You know, being Right all the time isn't all that great;>....

Nope, the Dems had to fuss about Consensus and all the BS that never worked in San Francisco or Berkeley, let alone the real world. All this showed me was the Ethical and Moral stances of the Dems mean less than the Political Theories they prefer.
And when they lose big the next election due to this BS, there'l NEVER be another non-Republican President in the history of the USA.
