mdehnersWell, the family Christmas dinner has been cancelled. Mom and Dad are down with food poisoning. Not from the usual suspects, but from smoked salmon left over from their cruise months ago. Yes....MONTHS AGO. I'd personally thrown out the last bit we had a couple months ago since it smelled "off". I forgot my folks NEVER throw anything away. They'll even cook stuff that has freezerburn. Luckly, Mom is such a good cook that....
Went over and brought my Meds for them and came back with half a partially cooked turkey, which I'll finish off in the steamer. Will call them qhr to make sure that they aren't getting any worse(they ARE in their late 70's and 80's after all...). Adventures are over-rated;>....
