mdehnersThis weather. I mean, other places it's worse....that's the point. Except for a couple of days since October we haven't had "seasonal" weather. Plants think that a long period of warmer weather is a sign that Spring is coming. So far we've had two and it's only a couple days after "official" WInter. The Old Guard Fruit trees on the property have already Bloomed...the old Peach and the Apple has buds. The Apple hasn't even shed it's leaves from last yrs YET.
Yes, it's pleasant to have your windows open but it's NOT GOOD for the plants and those that depend on them. We're having the Temps drop back to "normal" for a morning this week. Once that would be the day Temp for a couple of months with an occasional lower burst. It's easier for folks living in the center of a Biome instead of at it's margins, esp. nowadays.It's been so warm that it's slowed th Spinach...
