mdehnersto be 2009's "WTF is he Growing!?!" are:
Cassabanana-think 2' bright red zuchinnis that taste like a tropical fruit salad
Pepino Melon-a Tomato relative that produces fist sized cream and purple egg-shaped fruits that taste like melon
Purple Kiwi-a fuzzless Kiwi that's....PURPLE!
One that doesn't make the WTF list because Phillipino grow it locally is Yuca or better known as Manioc or Tapioca. That is, if the damned Possums leave me any after their raids on my greenhouse!
