Agricultural Engineering....
Jan. 27th, 2009 08:40 amWith the weather being decent the last couple of days, I've been able to catch up on some projects OUtside.
Mowing the WInter Weeds, clearing storm damage, Pruning out dead material(as opposed to possibly Freeze Damage, which gets left until new growth shows wher healthy tissue exists...), dividing Perennials, sowing Hardy Annuals, etc.
Also, all the Bananas and the Red Navel Orange are Outside and will only be dragged back in when Temps drop below Freezing...probably a couple nights more this yr. I figure they'll be ready for Planting out the last week of Feb or 1st week of March.
On the Rat "experience: I noted this AM that ALL of the baitblocks(the 1st time I've ever used this form) weere gone from the shed. Hopefully, they took them back to the nest and not kept them for themselves....
Cheers,
Pat
It wasn’t that they didn’t take an interest in the world around them. On the contrary, they had a deep, personal and passionate involvement with it, but instead of asking “why are we here?” they asked “is it going to rain before Harvest?”
