mdehnersOne "Good Thing" about living in a town is that you get to "know" the low-cal talking heads...which includes moi. I'm the one they all dislike: For Equality for Homosexuals but not for the Federation of America, which is the idea of one socialist state from pole to pole on both American continents.
One of the many fun things is that you get to ID the "Bitchers". These are the ones that were complaining during the Bush1, Clinton, Bush2 and now are still complaining. I call them that from a joke I heard in college: "Too Hot. Too COld. Bitch, Bitch, Bitch....and I haven't EVEN made to porridge yet".
Then there are the Christianists who blame everything on "Homosexuals and Pagans". The usual BS shows up today because of another church shooting,though NONE of them have been done by us "minions of satin&silver";>.
Personally, I voted for Obama because the Other would be a disaster for Me & Mine....nothing more. I also don't expect he's going to be able to do more than trim the suffering. After all, this mess has been in the works basically since the 70's. It takes a bit of time to clean up 30+ yrs of "trash", even for the most "anal" of "clean-freaks". Esp. when most don't own up to their own contribution to the mess....
