mdehnersI've been a fan of this show pretty much since it 1st showed in the US. Sadly, seldom seen here, it's the reason Tim Allen wasn't sued for pretty much basing his entire routine from the main character of 'The Red Green Show'.
A show about guys doing guy things that we really do, unike American shows. In the mythic Canadian small twon of Possum Lake, the members of a local fraternal order live their lives. Never dirty, always funny as well as sweet. The men of this town live by the credos of the lodge:
The Man's Prayer-
I am a Man
...but I can change
...I guess.
as well as the Possum Lodge credo:
Quando Omni Flunkus Mortati (WHen all else fails...play Dead)
As well as "All you really need in life is a roll of duct tape..."
If you like guys creating Rube Goldberg devices to get out quickly from their wife-imposed chores....you'll love this show.
