mdehnersI dislike Reality TV in General but the genre I DESPISE is that of the "Spawning Litters is Fun!" format. Happy Mom and Dad with their herd of happy Littles. What never gets pointed out that these folks are being paid to Breed. Supplies, cash, homes, cars, etc. One of TLC's most popular shows NEITHER of the parents Work. Gee, since both of them are always available to take care of them....we should be surprised?!?
I come from a family that is half Catholic and half Mormon. They run big as well but NONE of them had the resources that make these TV families so successful...certainly without a Working Parent. It's a LIE. Some dumbass sees how cool and easy it is to have 6, 8 or 12 kids. Well, chances you're not going to get a TV deal offered to you.And nowadays there isn't the Anglosaxon culturalbackground to force guys to work to support every one of their Offspring to the best of their ability. Today's man is more likely to dump it on the woman, figuring it's "her Body, her Choice"...
