mdehnersEvery once in a while I'll be a bid snide(only once in a while:>?!?)when asked certain questions repeatedly. One is when someone who has a touch of Sight hasn't seen any Housewights about their home. It's, "How's your Housekeeping skills?".
The Lore is pretty clear about the Attitude toward "Untidiness" that particualrly Housewights have(though those residing in barns, smiths, etc seem to be just as Persnicketty). And lets face it, a heckovalot of Heathens and Pagans aren't going to pass MINIMAL standards, let alone the Nordic White Glove Test. I remember one of my old kindred members who REAAAAALLLLYYY wanted to See Wights and since she could already See "Dead People", she couldn't Understand why not. It was SIMPLE. There WEREN'T ANY in her home.There was dishes mult days old soaking in moldy water. Overflowing catboxes and ashtrays. "Goatpaths" throughout the home linking rooms and machines. And sadly, she wasn't the worst "housekeeper" in our kindred!
If you want to Attract or even Please Wights, tidy up. Heck, I mop the whole house weekly and I know They'd prefer it at least twice weekly(we have a shedding dog;>).The vast majority of Wealful Beings of the Nordic Lands perfer Order to Chaos, From Greater to Lesser Wights. If you can't walk through a room in your home without something sticking to your feet, it's too dirty for the more Wealful Wights. Now, if you prefer the Woeful kind,just leave things a they are. After all, hasn't it been working so well for you anyway;>?
