mdehnersAround here, you can tell even ifthe weather hasn't begun to cool that Fall is near or even astrologically here.....the Blooming of the Goldenrods and Maximillian Sunflowers. Both of these flowers every yr start within a week of astrological Fall, depending on the temps. This yr they came this week.
I esp. like the Sunflowers which are near 13' tall with clouds of fist-sized Sunflowers. What started out as a few plants rescued from my back yrd is now a hedge 4' wide and 20' long in 8 yrs. It'd be wider if I didn't Mow;>....
