mdehnersI was poop-ed after doing yardwork, so I parked in front of the boob-tube. Sadly, all there was on was the usual "I'm a Druggie/Hoarder/Hot mess/etc because my Mom didn't hug me enough/I was adopted/my Mom died when I was 45/etc". It reminded me of a comment one of the other Gay Asatruars once said, "It's a wonder I'm not a Serial Killer with what i went through...".
Personally, I know of few folks who had a perfect childhood. Even mine, which I consider good had it's occassional beatings. Sadly, those of us who "made Lemonade" are the ones no one gives a fukk about. At least in America, our culture for the last cou[ple of decades is to reward those who can't "deal" and at least ignore those that DID.
