Pet Peeve # 399;>

Had to go down to the Health Dept to get some Pharmacy paperwork today and, as usual have a number of Pet Peeves thrown in my face. The biggest today is here, for low income folks are folks who have RRREEEEAAALLLLY nice cars, 4G Smartphones,IPads, expensive(to me) clothing and jewelry, etc. The REASON you're SUPPOSED to be using the Health Dept is that you're too Poor for Private Medicine, not because you spent all your money on "Stuff"and don't have enough for you and/or your family. 'Course,perhaps a fair amt of their Income is from the Underground Economy and therefore can't be used to pay for a Law-Abiding MD....

That and they lie. Or they've hooked up with another person and that person's income isn't counted with theirs. But mostly lying and spending their money on stuff.

Yup. And then when I need help the funds are gone. I realise Humans evolved from Scavengers but do we have to have it rubbed in our faces;>?
