Told the folks about Chuck quitting his job. The only reason I did was because they sometimes Shop there and didn't want them to be surprised or feel awkward. Both Mom and Dad felt that they'd treated him badly over the yrs and were surprised that Chuck'd put up with it for as along as he had. They also said that they'd(his job)be sorry without him to cover their arses for Corporate. They also said they'd no longer shop there.
All of which really made Chuck's day.
I've a good family:>
Cheers,
PAt

Ah,this is good. I quit my last job because of the stress they put good employees under. They had mandatory OT but it wasn't individual, it was for your team. The only good thing about the 4 day 10 shift was that I could come in on two days off and get in 16 hours because if the team didn't make the goal, everyone on the team, and some worked 20+ hours of OT a week, got written up. Surprised they're still in business.
I think it's very good that your parents are so supportive. Chuck has good grounds for a suit against them and I would worry that he would file. Of course, management at his location seems not to be too on the ball so maybe not.
