One of the most sadly Amusing things in my life is that the guy that was the "Go To Guy" for problems in your apts wherever I lived is treated like a Retarded Child by his family...even more amusing because my younger brother is less adept at such things, but he's Het.
An on-going source of "exaspiration" in my family is over my inability to get our lawnmower to work decently. It's been in the shop twice...of course because of stupid-ol' me.
So this AM I decided NOT to say anything to anyone and fix it myself so I "googled" the model to troubleshoot. Guess what? over 90% of folks have had the SAME PROBLEMS with the model and ALL say they'll not buy a Craftsman Mower again(including folks you'd bought this model because they'd bought one more than a decade ago and had no problems with them until they died....
Sadly for me, the best advice(other than getting another non-Craftsman mower;>)is to rebuild the carborator and blow out all the lines. I HATE rebuilding carborators so much I can'tr even spell them correctly;>!
Cheers,
Pat

Too many small parts. Every brand has lemon models. Sadly, it's a real pain when it's your lemon.
