mdehnersSo, Mom is bad in the hospital. Not her usual cardiac-related problems but an ear infection. Thing is she'd been complaining of an earache two weeks ago and a week ago....both times I told her she needed to go to the doctor for. Unfortunately,the "I'll just sit in the dark, I don't want to be a bother" gene is quite active in her....
When I got up this AM I noticed that the drive was dry,which didn't make sense since I could hear the well pump working. Once I grabbed a flashlight I found quite the impressive fountain in the backyard! After I finish this I've got to check to see if I have anymore PVC epoxy to fix the pipe. Not a big problem, unless I can't find any epoxy;>
A useless bit of trivia is that the flash on my old digital camera no longer works. This WILL cut into Chuck's "Cute Things Boo-Boo Does" pix addiction,since most of them happen Indoors(which is how we found out;>).
Oh, and so far the 1st of my Alsobia Cross to bloom has been the best. The last two didn't handle the genes from it's Pollen Parent well and the blossoms are deformed. That's the downside of Hybridizing. The plus is creating something kool;>

Ovarian Cancer in the 80's
Mult Cardiac Bypasses from 90's till last yr
Outlived both her parents by 30 yrs
And that's not counting a life of world-travelling OR being a Sheriff's Deputy during WWII and a Paramedic in the 70's(one of the 1st Women to be so in Utah)
We should all be that lucky in our Incarnations;>
