DONE!!!!!!!!
Sep. 16th, 2012 01:45 pmFinally finished with the SE Bed. All that's left is the thinning, weeding and harvesting. Right;>.....
So, one Turnip('Navet Des Vertus Marteau'), two Daikon('Tae Bek' and 'Oharu') and one Mustard('Kekkyu Takana') have been added to this Winter's hopeful bounty. I've 'Carentan' Leek, Red Welsh and Kyoto White Green Onions, Giant Kohlrabi(can't remember German name;>) and a Raddiccio(came as a gift;>)started indoors to give them both a head start AND be easier for me to deal with.
Picked about a peck of Persimmons over at the folk's house(I dropped by to see how they were doing when I went to pick up my Meds and they were out). The nice thing about Fuyus is that they're edible as soon as they turn Orange...you don't have to wait until they're Soft.
Hopefully the Rain will hold off until tomorrow afternoon, since they're coming to replace our Heating and A/C Tuesday and I'd like to Mow and de-puppybomb the backyard for them;>.
Cheers,
Pat(Sweaty but Content)
