Phew!!!!!!!

What a day yesterday was! 1st, a couple of pretty much wasted hrs in "Diabetes Class" where I not only learned nothing new, it was clear very quickly that the Practical Nurse teaching it didn't appreciate uppity peasants. The only thing I DID get out of it was noticing that she was using an app for her I Phone so when my brother was over today about replacing our dead drier(we rent from them) he was able to download it onto the I-pad he gave me when he got the new one(it's been kinda neat that ever since the kids graduated college I get the e-handmedowns they used to get;>).
I'd been home less than an hr when Mom called asking me to pick her up so she could follow Dad to the ER. They never did figure out what caused his BP to crash and him gasping for air. All they were able to do is rule out Cardiac Involvement. 5 hrs later, we brought him home. Long day.
Today's been nice, though it would have been nice to have gotten the dryer taken care of today like we thought but they got a deal through one of the box stores to deliver and remove the old one free so I DO Understand;>!
Got a bed of Chinese Cabbage planted and picked the 1st tree-ripened Bananas EVER here! Durn thing is sending out another blossom which is WAY too late for it to ripen on the tree and maybe even as a giant cutting in a bucket(which is how the previous production was handled).
