A young girl is abandoned and homeless after her Widower father loses all his money by Gambling and runs out on her. While dispairing on a park bench she hears a cry for help. A rather "natty" gentleman has been "treed" by a cute puppy. Shooing it away, the man listens to her story and tells her that he has a home that he abandoned yrs ago and if she wanted it, all she had to do was to go there and tell them he sent her. She finds out that it is an old temple and the gentlman had been the God of that Land and now she, even though Human was now the Goddess of their region, able to hear Prayers and answer them to her ability. Oh, and she gets a Fox spirit Familiar who, well is a "fox" as well;>.....
Sweet, funny and of course, Romantic...
