mdehnersLiving here in "The Dangly Bits" can oft give your BP meds a good workout. 1st, there's the folks that, can be most Charitably called "Uncomplicated". They're not stupid, they just have absolutely NO INTEREST outside of a very narrow group of subjects...usually those they picked up from their parents or at the latest, kindergarden.
Then there are the actual Bigots. OMMHO these are the same folks that when they were kids didn't Share and threw fits if made to. Either they think someone is trying to "Take Their Stuff" OR Someone Else(or they just THINK the other person HAS)has something that they think THEY Deserve and the person(s) that do....DON'T.Had to drive by a lot today to get my aids Meds on which is where the local Teaps post their signs...most of which, without using the "N Word",state that there HAD to be some grand conspiracy of all the Coloureds, Hebs and Fags because there is NO WAY a "Kenyan" could have been elected ONCE, LET alone TWICE.
Then there are the Clueless, which sadly are EVERYWHERE. Barely kept from myself triggering a Smurf-brawl when a couple of them were thinking how "Great" it was that an "African American" was in running for the Pope(as if all Africans are Americans;>). I thought you all didn't Beleive that skin colour defined you;>? I just LOVE White Liberal folks who've never lived around non-Whites and just assume that they are all amazingly like themselves;>! Sorry. Even my Progressive non-White friends and aqaintances don't think like suburban newagers....
