So, I'm bored to death enough to attempt to watch a Christian comedy show on Netflix. Didn't last very long. Not that the Humor wasn't funny. It wasn't any different than what you might find on CMT. It was seeing a guy I knew from San Francisco, very active in the Leather/S&M commnity as one of the good "familyman" comics.
I PERSONALLY Understand WHY they do what they do(so Hets will give them the Rights of, well HETS)but CHOOSE not to have to deal personally with Closet Cases. Watching "Mr Suburban Family Man" perform while remembering the less-than-G performances at Folsum Street Fair PISSED ME OFF.
And folks wonder why I keep thinking Christian=Hypocrite....

I tried for decades not to but I finally gave in a few yrs ago after a Gay Christian friend who had the habit of performing Oral Sex on teens in public bathrooms tried to convince me to Convert away from my religion, "because now we have a congregation in our neighborhood, you can be part of a real religion now"....showing me the last 5 yrs of friendship was nothing more than a "Long Game".
And what is it with CHristian clergy and NOT liking those your own age;>?

...I think that, honestly, a lot of them are more into predator on easier targets mode and choose those with less power, and that is often the younger people, and some were molested themselves in the past and can get a little stuck there in what is attractive to them...my partner is one of the few people certified to administer a certain kind of Abel test, that measures what turns your crank by apparently showing you images and somehow measuring body and emotional responses...I don't know the details, but they have a lot of categories of gender and age and race and all, and the idea is that when young children/major abuse/whatever no longer turn the person on, the person is considered healthier than previously...
