Remember when a storyline on a sitcom where a successful woman had a baby out of wedlock got condemnation from the Whitehouse? Today, even mult shows about teen mothers don't even create a blink....

If that was Murphy Brown, I remember being completely unfazed by her having a baby and keeping her career. Twas AWESOME. (I was still single digits age.)

I'm a big fan of the show as well. I just thinking how much has changed. There were all the calls and letters from the Morals Police as well as "VP Potatoe" when the show was relealed, let alone SHOWn and now? I'm not a prude but there's a part of me that Wishes we hadn't swung so far the other way....
