Resolution....
Sep. 19th, 2013 10:51 amEBay has a number of -'s. It also has a few +'s. One is it's Resolution Center.
I've been doing mail-order since the mid 70's and, for the most part when you get screwed.....you ARE. At least with a vendor with an EBay "store" you have a chance of at least getting your order.
Case in point, my book ordered from an online Pagan bookstore. I noticed it had a site on EBay and did my ordering through them, even though it meant PayPal. After almost two moths post my original "mailed" notice and two unsuccessful attempts to contact per email, I contacted EBay. within 2 working days they responded. 'Course, they said they had no record of my order but DID have of my payment;>. They said they'd refund my money.
Part of me was shaking my head about all this then I remembered that this is a Pagan business. This means many Pagan customers and we KNOW how many Pagans "deal" with conflict of ANY kind. For every one like me that fights to get their money back there are probably at least a half dozen that just accepted a "Learning Experience" and let the crooks keep there money.....
Cheers,
Pat
