Stuff-N-Nonsense....
Oct. 11th, 2013 10:53 amReeeeaaaallly getting TIRED of being "Sick & Tired"....
On the + side, the weather is FINALLY feeling like Fall and I'm able to Tolerate Working outside better, which is good because by next week the veg seedlings I started will be ready to transplant. Also, FHIA23, a Banana I was testing for our extension service a couple yrs ago(Works as an Ornamental, esp. juvie form, only bears after esp. MILD Winters so in general Failed)fruited and Ripened this week! Think of one of those Apples that has a sorta Pineapple flavor with Banana texture and you have it. Nice, but I prefer my Dwarf Namwas.
The Gulf Fritillary Butterflies are here in full force for Mating and egg-laying on the Passionflowers. Soon, the caterpillars will have the vines stripped and make the Passionfruit easy to Harvest.
Other than the sort of 'Woo" experience that told me I'd got too lackadaisical about the Dangers inherent in "mucking about" in places and with Beings Humans SHOULD be CAREFUL about....pretty quiet.
Cheers,
Pat
