Too Smooth....
Nov. 17th, 2013 10:05 amThings were going too well with the new "kids", so....
In 2 weeks, the only "problem" we have is Rocky deciding that 0300 is Breakfast Time and will nip at your chin if you don't respond to loud purring;>. About 5 days ago I noticed, after getting a face full of catbutt;> that Rocky had matted fur around his anus. Friday he began to have what in Humans would be called "Wet Farts". Yesterday evening we began to find raindrop-sized dribbles ever so often. Nothing big, and not many. No change in his Appetite or Energy.
Luckily, tomorrow they both have to go back to the shelter to finish up their vaccines so we'll ask them to check him out. I have a feeling this has been going on for a while since he's "a Runt" and the shelter had worried about his lack of weight and size because he had a shitload(sorry, couldn't resist;>)of tests and was negative to all the usual nasty diseases that cats get(and we have tests for). Personally? I have a feeling he was born with the Feline equivalent of Chrone's Disease. Doesn't matter anyway. He's part of the family now and he's here for the duration.....
Cheers,
Pat
