Irony;>....
Jan. 24th, 2014 11:02 amPoor Chuck;>! Last week when my brother was fixing my computer, he complained about the speed and suggested upgrading. Chuck got it stuck in his head and he kept bugging me about it, even to getting me to go over on MLK Day(since a lot of Southern businesses don't Observe it). They did;>. Well, the next day it WAS open and so I upgraded, new modem(well it WAS 6 yrs old)and all. Everything works well and faster EXCEPT Chuck's Blu-ray player on which he watches Hulu+.
So, until my brother can come over and diddle with his router, he has to watch it on my Roku. Which actually is not that big of a problem 'cause we discovered yesterday that my off-brand Blu-ray player will no longer update and so won't play some new releases. When I checked online about it, apparently that's company policy to get folks to buy new ones. A couple PAGES of complaints about this practice. This was my LAST off-name brand device.
Oh well....
Cheers,
Pat
