Update....
Feb. 19th, 2014 10:18 amWell, after two months, two phone conferences, and a bunch of other shit I found out that if I'd been able to get folks to get me info back in January I could have saved $200 on my deductible and lowered my copay to what it was last yr...but that didn't happen. Instead, if I switched providers I'd pay that PLUS what I've already paid out to my present provider. Both have pretty much the same cost at the pharmacy. So, I'll switch in the Fall.
Next month when I refill my aids meds they will(Tivar Willing) be the rate they were last yr....doable. I'll pretty much take care of the deductible left($68.00)with my BP and Cholesterol meds. Thanks to getting that grant to pay for a month's supply of "The Big 3" I only have had to go a couple of weeks without my aids meds instead of a couple of months. Hopefully, the Extra Help tier I've been bumped up to will make a marked difference. I'd like for us to be able to buy Beef more than a couple times a yr....
Cheers,
pat
