mdehnersA bad translation of a neat new Anime series just beginning to be released in the States from Japan(only 3 episodes so far...). Who knows where it'll go but from those 3...far.
Hozuki is the oh-so-efficient Assistant and Troubleshooter for Lord Genma, the Japanese version of Satan. With 272 different "hells" and various subdivisions, there's lots of work to be done and when your populous and staff are, well "not Good", there's lots that can keep Jikoku(Hell) from running smoothly....esp since WWII when the Human population skyrocketed;:! It's not just "Hell", their Heaven is understaffed and is always trying to "poach" efficient workers.
Truly and Delightfully Weird;>
Episode 1 has a subplot about figuring out where panty-thieves go; Thieves' Hell of Pervert's Hell
Episode 2 has Satan drop by to recon whether he wishes to annex Jikoku into "European Hell"
Episode 3 deals with Hozuki's counterpart in Shangri-La for which they've had a 1000 yr argument about Breast Size of the 1st Woman our of a restroom(the 1st was a Transgendered MTF the 2nd a biological female.;>...)
I said it was Weird;>!
