It's funny. I thought this whole Healthcare thang was pushed too early. After all, the economy needs the focus. Well, no longer, though probably too late. Went to pick up some of this month's meds and had a bit of sticker shock. A bit of sneakiness by the pharm companies got a law passed here in Florida where the only way you can get generic forms of your meds is if you have your Doc write for them. No more "check X if you wish the generic equivalent" option. A hassle that I 'm sure less savy folks will not "get" and think they have to only buy the more expensive. As it is, It'll be a couple days of not taking this med while I get the Doc to write the script, then the pharm to fill it. Luckly, it's only High Blood Pressure meds...not like anything life-threatening;>......
