OMG;>!!!!!!
Jun. 15th, 2014 02:52 amOne of the many decisions I've made this yr was to no longer put my "fun Money" into the yard. With the folks health issues, it's pretty obvious our time here at Hummingbird Home is coming to a close in the next couple yrs. And considering that the probability that either my brother or the future owner would plow under everything to make a "Low Maintenance Lawn", there's no point.
So, those admittedly limited funds are now available for other uses.
Our diet is already pretty good. Fresh fruits and Veg(many from our own gardens)and Fresh Fish from local sources. The meat, admittedly isn't the best but it's not the worst;>! Seasonings are either grown here or ordered from high quality sources. The one place I hadn't thought of to "upgrade" was the condiments;>!
Earlier this month, while waiting at the dentist I was reading a magazine which was doing a "Top-10" type listing of various condiments....2 of those are staples in our home; Soy and Fish Sauces. Interestingly, the 2nd Place Soy Sauce I'd tried before, Yamasa(both Regular and Low Sodium...latter best tasting, so I decided to try the #1. It was Ohsawa's Nama Shoyu. It's an Organic, Unpasteurized Shoyu which costs about x3 the standard Kikkoman's(Yamasa's x2;>). I figured it was going to be good but not worth X3 the price.
I WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!
Let's put it this way. When I opened the bottle I put a drop on my hand and licked it. I then sprinkled my mand and licked it off;>.....
Damned! It's GOOOOOOOOOD;>!
Cheers,
Pat(who's gong to spend next month's extra on a bottle of Red Boat Fish Sauce...if it's in stock!)
