mdehnersRunning into an old journal this month brought up some "stuff"....some good, some not-so-much;>. One nsm was that the material in the hardcopy one from before I moved out here(and before Word, let alone LJ and DW)was of much higher Quality than today's. You would have thought that a decade and a half more Work would have had more to show for, not less. Then again, I was Writing for myself and no matter how much we SAY we're not, when you Write online you're Influenced by your Readers, whether they actually DO anything. It's just the "cost" of being Public I guess.
It also got me thinking about Personal Change(s) over the yrs. It's funny. The "Me" that started on this Path would have mixed Feelings about the "Me" today. I'm pretty sure he'd be happy about the Knowledge and Wisdom I've gained. My Life? I dunno. Let's face it. A kid working his way through college has pretty much the same "Lifestyle" as someone on Disability. And I KNOW he'd be just as ANNOYED at me as he was with his Elders who had Abilities but never seemed to use them;>.....
