mdehnersIs a good term for what we're feeling here in our last Fall at Hummingbird Home. The last Veggie garden here is planted and sprouting. I've been going through the yard with my bamboo skewers Marking the plants I want to take with, esp. the ones that go Dormant. I was thinking of digging up the 'Cara Cara' Orange but figure if we have the space at the new place, we'll just get another.
Thanks to the fruit thieves, I won't miss as much of the property as I would have if I didn't have to deal with them. Also, Niceville is not as "Culturally Diverse" and so those from cultures in which fruiting plants outside of walled enclosures are considered "Public Domain" will not increase personal irritation caused by differing cultural memes;>. Everything will be behind walls. Heck, even the neighborhood is;>!
We've pretty much out-lived or outlasted all the neighbors here we were friendly with. Time to make new neighbors!
