The "Good News" from my clinic apt yesterday was that the overworked Diabetes Coordinator was gone. The 'Bad" is that my PA now does the prescribing. Medically? She's on the ball. Unfortunately, even after more than a yr she's still not "got" the concept County health Dept Client=POOR. She calle in a new Diabetes med for me and the Pharm sent me an email telling me it's not covered by my Insurance Medicare-D and the monthly fee is $149.35 OVER my monthly SSI.
Tomorrow I get to TRY to get a hold of her...

It just gets OLD. It's bad enough just being Poor but having your MD's constantly forgetting that you can't afford the crap that gets mult ads an hr then needs to pay those off....
