DVD Recommendation: 'Malificent'...

mdehnersI admit, I wasn't expecting much beyond "Pretty!" after the 'Beanstalk' remake. I was VERY Pleasantly surprised. And yes, it's very Pretty;>.
Don't expect great Acting or Dialogue but just a fun time. Pretty much any scene with Malificent and her Raven "sidekick" will make you at least grin. To me, it's like watching two old Queens banter;>. The LAMEST bits are those with the trio of idiotic Pixies who're raising the Princess Aurora. At least 'Hocus Pocus's Sanderson Sisters were FUNNY. Imagine the Irony that poor Malificent has to basically raise the child so that she'll be alive for her Curse to Work;>!
Definitely one I'm getting as soon as I see it in the used or discount bin;>...

I mean, basically, you have a physically and emotionally Abused Faery who to get her Revenge has to pretty much become the mother of the future "Sleeping Beauty" and has to "deal" with the repercussions of a Curse on a person that had NOTHING to do with her Violation(s)....that she's become Fond of.
Normally, I'm not much of a Jolie fan but she DID do a good job(and looks like she had fun doing it;>).
