Mom.....

Passed last night quietly. I got a "Head's Up" yesterday when I could See her Soul outside of her body with the exception of a string-like bit still attached. The topper was of course waking up and be greeted by Chuck telling me Mom had come by and "Waved Goodbye" to him...
I've seen a number of people Pass(both as a loved one and as a nurse) and she had one of the best.

Thanks. It was one of the best. I knew it was soon when I sat with her yesterday and there was this amorphous shape over her with a thin tail leading to her body. When I woke I was greeted by Chuck who told be he had a dream where Mom appeared and was waving goodbye. That happened around 0200. My brother noticed she'd stopped breathing about 0300....

I'm so glad it was quick and peaceful. My condolences to all of you, especially your dad.

He's doing well. Sad but also Relieved. One thing both as someone who had a lot of loved ones Pass during the 80's and as a nurse(esp with Hospice) is that many in the Process tend to be a bit Self-Focused and hard on their loved ones. In some ways I think that helps those who remain to do some emotional separation before the loved ones Pass. There's more a feeling of Relief at the end of their Suffering and less about how much they miss the person.
