FINALLY!!!!!!!

Tech #10 and 11 FINALLY fixed our month long Cable nightmare. The problem was two-fold.
1-The previous owner had put in some potlights in the kitchen and a couple of outlets that ran along the cable line. Solved by simply flipping a fuse. None of the lights or outlets were necessary to us

2-Shitty Tuner. Apparently, it's not unusual.in fact #10 had got so tired of dealing with them that he had #11 do nothing basically for the last week pairing Mcards and Tuners so that as more TiVo users switched to HD they'd have functioning pairs. 11 mentioned he's had 11 tuners fail before one will work. It didn't hurt that 11 was a Bear Cub and I think was "tickled" that he was helping an old Queer couple with a ongoing problem.

Now, as soon a my brother can come over and link Chuck's mini with mine all will be well(I DID try myself. I got it to go from not recognizing the old TiVo to not the new;>).....

Yay! So it wasn't the old cable after all. That kitchen rewire issue is a new one to me.

Hooray for baby bears and their working partners. Glad it's finally sorted. I hope you were refunded your subscription charges for the time you were without service.

We were. The sadly Ironic thing was that the present BBC America is nothing like the one we used to watch back when we lived in San Francisco back in the 90's. About 90% is American syndication....
