mdehnersDoing a little yardwork as Fall ends and Winter comes. The Summer weeds don't like the weather and nether do the Winter ones so it wasn't particularly heinous to weed;>.
Only 2 Morning Glories(well, one a relative;>) produced viable seed to save; the 'Lavender Silk' and the White form of the Cypress Vine. This Spring I'll post them and other things if folks want them in their gardens. I'm going to contact the local healthfood store and see if they'd like a Tea tree and a Mayan Spinach bush. They're both getting too big and with the Chaya/Mayan Spinach they root easily and with a pruning a couple months ago I already have one more conducive to "Dragg'n In";>.
The Philippine Violets are putting on quite a show, and since last Winter they didn't freeze back to the roots the neighbors can see them over the fence;>! I have the rare White form, though there's a rarer one that is Violet with WHite edges. They bloom from Samhain to Yule(usually about 1st Freeze) when little else does.
Been feeling a bit "yucky" the last couple of days. If I hadn't had my Flu shot last month I'd bet on that but it isn't so it could be anything....even physical reaction to the election.
