mdehnersI personally enjoyed this alt history fan fic e-book more than it's source material. Rowling enjoyed it as well;....
The premise is standard; what if Harry was raised differently? In this Universe, his Aunt doesn't marry Dursley, she marries a loving Professor. The Intellect that allowed Harry to catch up with native wizards in a couple of months spent YRS being Homeschooled by a brilliant scientist and teacher. Due to this, two central characters in Rowling's books become very minor characters; Ron Weasley and Hagrid. The latter was perfect to "deal" with the thuggish Dursley's but not the Verres-Evans'....McGonagall does, teacher to teacher. There of course are other changes but they all make a great story!Also, because this Harry is more Rational and Logical that the Original, more of the How? and Why? of Wizarding World get "splained".
I think you'll enjoy this as much as I did...
