This song from 'Camelot' came to mind after my brother left from one of his AT LEAST bimonthly trips to our house to fix one or more of our devices. Now, I'm no "Luddite" and I fix 80% of what comes up but he's required for that last 20%. How DO folks who have little to no computer skills AND don't have an obliging friend or relative that's skilled with BOTH soft AND Hardware?
That's why disaster movies where the Power is still on a couple days after "Whatever" happened. Without knowledgeable folks CONSTANTLY working with/on the tech it just locks up and crashes. We don't go a WEEK with something needing rebooting, etc.....
Cheers,
Pat

They have to take their devices to an awful little shop, where the tech says, "I'll have to keep it until... ohhhh... next Thursday." And then bears the device into the inner sanctum, the back room.

I hadn't thought of disconnecting for a half hour or so. Will give it a go!
