Haven't posted much lately on the Woo Side because both things have been too frenetic to do serious Trancework and the local Wights are settling down for Winter.
Next yr's main Spiritual Project is to go a full Ritual Cycle as an Anglo-Saxon Heathen. Did a cycle before just with the OE Names but keeping everything else Norse. Before the 1st time I asked if there'd be any problem and I got back They considered those differences basically local dialects. The main difficulties will be from Those whose Names didn't survive Christianity. Thankfully, many DID in Scandinavia but not all. Also, I've no idea the grammatical rules for shifting ON to OE. That will be a project in itself;>!
One thing the shift will do is get me back up to snuff on the AF Futhorc. Been probably at least a decade that I did any Deep Work with it. Generally I use the Elder Futharc. My collection of Runesets isn't as big as my old Tarot collection but there are at least 9; 2 of which are AF Futhorcs. My fav sets for both are Copper made by the same lady in San Francisco back in the 90's. The Futhorc isn't as good as the Elder Futhark since she didn't have any practice with it and to add to it the Futhorcs were designed to be written, not carved, which can be tricky to do on a surface normally carved.
This yr Sif/Sibbe has been appearing more and more in my Workings. She's difficult since so little has survived of Her, even though Her mate is Thor. This makes it harder to keep oneself from wandering off into Glamour or worse, allow Something Nasty to try to trick you(like my 1st encounter with a Being that identified herself as Freya. Thankfully, the Lore showed my misgivings justified since the Being was very little like what has been passed down from the Ancestors). Looks like a busy yr;>!
Cheers,
Pat
