Tumblr Refugees....

mdehnersIn the last couple of weeks I've had a couple of my communities swell here on DW with the influx of folks leaving the BS at Tumblr. I'm hoping these folks bring back to life communities that faded after FB and Twitter came online.
That said, reading the intros of most of these folks reminds me of my age;>!Most hadn't been conceived when Chuck and I got Handfasted….
But truthfully the age thing doesn't bother me though it might them. I know when I was their age I didn't want to hear someone my present age. One thing that will probably be a problem is that I've not been physically active in either my alt.rel or LGBT communities since early in the 00's so am not "up" to the present "stuff".Seems the vast majority are Eclectics with Erisian/Discordian preferences. My "fuddy-duddy-ness" will probably bore them to death;>.
Still, I'm optimistic for the lists even IF it means I don't fit there anymore. Hopefully, they'll be occasionally Interested in what someone who's been on the alt.rel Path since the 70's has to say....
