Happy Shots!

Went to the Pain clinic yesterday for my Cortisone shots in my spine. Last night was the best sleep I've had for months! It's only been a day but I'd say the back and hip pain is down half. That's pretty good.
I have though, after talking to my brother that I'm going to ask for the surgery ASAP. Chris said he'd stay over with Chuck while I'm at the hospital recovering. As I've said before, I'm more concerned about losss of function than pain. While the shots decrease the pressure on the nerves, it does nothing for the cause of that pressure. Better to get it done and over.....

I've a follow up with them in a couple weeks and I'm going to try to get the ball rolling. Might as well fix the problem.
