So, while I was in hospital Chuck had another Stroke. Instead of taking him to the ER my brother did nothing except freak out and call Protective Services. At this point I'm released from hospital still a lot of PAIN. We are not given the number(and somehow SPS was given the wrong number for us). Being efficient they found the right one and contacted us. At this point Chuck and I thought he was going to be forcibly removed. The Inspector disavowed this and said she would test him as whether he needed forcible removal or whether help could be given to keep him home as long as possible. We were quite relieved until the day when my brother and his wife made it clear they wanted him GONE. The inspection went well and he's getting a number of programs to be sorted and assigned on the 7th. My SIL is calling me "selfish" and my brother? who knows. At present I don't think we're going to lose the house or anything like that but I personally don't think family outings are a good thing for awhile.
This is bringing up a shiteload of old tapes from the 80's with sick friends and their thoughtless relations. Some things never change and once again reinforces my Trust Issues with non-alt.rel Hets.
Probably for the rest of my life.
Cheers,
Pat

Oh man, I am sorry. Is Chuck doing any better now that you're back and the crisis with soc. services is over? Are you? I'm glad soc. services were sensible. I really hope your brother will become so.
