So, it's been a busy couple of weeks, from part of the ceiling in the laundry room collapsing to Chuck choking during dinner. Fun times;>.....
If it wasn't for the health care here I'd be perfectly happy here. Even with it it's pretty good. From Samhain to just after Thanksgiving the LEAVES!!!!!!!!!! Stunning. And on of the prettiest in the neighborhood is just outside our living room window! A stunning Japanese Maple which changed from Maroon to Apricot to almost Yellow. I saved some of the Apricot ones.
We now have a beach;>! The TVA lowers the reservoirs in the Fall to prevent Winter and Spring Flooding so it's dropped over 6' as of now. What's funny as heck it the neighbor across the cove is one of those Richers without taste and it's a neighborhood activity to see what he does next. He built his dock so far out that the boats of others have to go around it and STILL it wasn't deep enough for his freaking yacht which is now listing at an angle;>.
We're all decorated for Yule and already tired of all the activities. Can't wait till after New Years!
Cheers,
Pat

The laundry room ceiling collapsed and Chuck choked?! Eek eek! I'd been hoping you were both ok, poor Chuck, I hope the episode was brief and he's fully recovered.
