The Fall Garden.....
Oct. 27th, 2023 01:15 pmFall is in full force in E Tennessee. Colors came out strong quickly but that usually means leaves fall quicker. The only plants in my garden still Blooming are some of the Salvias, the Persecarias and the Japanese Anemones. It's great sitting on my porch with pipe and a good Oolong watching the migrating birds land down the hill in the cove(we live on the Tellico Reservoir). This Fall is bittersweet because my Partner of 27 yrs had to be placed in long-term care. He had a couple Strokes and it wasn't a surprise but still. After all, if I hadn't been a Retired Nurse he's have had to been admitted a couple yrs ago..
Luckily the one he's at is less than a half hr drive away so I can see him a few times a week.
On that note;>
Cheers,
