Book Recommendation...

mdehnersI'm reading a Sci-Fi book I've read off-n-on for the last 30 yrs again. Needless to say, you'll have to check out your local used paperback store for 'Mayflies' by Kevin O'Donnell Jr.
It's the future. We've got colonies on the Moon and Mars but it's Same-O Same-O. Even El Salvador is now a member of the nuclear club. America, with the help of Russia(they're getting their arses kicked by the Chinese) build Earth's 1st and only generation ship who's computer is a human brain, just in time to "Get out of Dodge"...
Smart, funny and sadly realistic about Humans. And the Aliens are just that...ALIEN.
The title is what Central Computer starts calling Humans after the 3rd generation on-ship(The Mayflower, natch): short-lived(to it) organisms that do little but reproduce and pester CC;>.....
